Set Up Your Logo on Apple Mail
Displaying an official brand logo in Apple Mail boosts open rates and assures recipients that the email is authentic and un-spoofed. Apple Mail displays logos through two complementary methods: BIMI and Apple Business Connect.Method 1: BIMI (Brand Indicators for Message Identification)
Starting in iOS 16 and macOS Ventura, Apple Mail supports the open BIMI standard:- Enforce DMARC: Your domain must have an enforced DMARC policy (
p=quarantineorp=reject). A policy ofp=noneis not eligible for BIMI. - Obtain a VMC (Verified Mark Certificate): Apple requires a VMC issued by an authorized certification authority (e.g. DigiCert or Entrust) confirming trademark ownership of your logo.
- Publish BIMI DNS Record:
Publish a TXT record at
default._bimi.yourdomain.com:
Method 2: Apple Business Connect (Mail Branding)
Apple allows registered businesses to claim their brand identity directly:- Sign in to Apple Business Connect.
- Register your legal business identity and upload your company logo.
- Add your Mailofly sending domain under Brand Identity.
- Once approved by Apple, your verified logo and company name will appear beside all outbound emails in Apple Mail across iOS and macOS devices.
