Avoid iCloud’s Spam Folder

Apple’s mail infrastructure guards @icloud.com, @me.com, and @mac.com mailboxes using aggressive filtering technology focused on sender authentication, privacy, and content reputation.

Apple Postmaster Guidelines

  1. Strict SPF and DKIM Alignment: Apple requires all bulk senders to have verified SPF records and valid DKIM keys.
  2. Reverse DNS (PTR): Mail must originate from IP addresses with valid reverse DNS lookups that resolve to the sending hostname. Mailofly configures this automatically.
  3. Handle Apple Private Email Relay Properly: Apple users who authenticate via “Sign in with Apple” may use private relay addresses (@privaterelay.appleid.com). See our Apple Private Relay Guide for specific SPF registration rules.
  4. Remove Unsubscribes Immediately: Apple users expect instant opt-out compliance. Mailofly processes unsubscribes in real-time.
