Email Addresses for Testing

To test your application’s error handling, bounce webhooks, and retry logic without sending spam to real people, Mailofly provides simulated test addresses.

Simulated Recipient Addresses

When you send to these addresses in sandbox mode or using an active API key, Mailofly simulates specific delivery responses without dispatching external SMTP traffic:

Testing Suppressions

Sending to bounced@mailofly.dev or complained@mailofly.dev automatically adds the address to your test workspace suppression list, allowing you to test:

Webhook signature verification and payload handling
Your database marking the user profile as un-deliverable
UI banners warning users about bounced emails
