The Friendly Paper Shredder (Delete Contact) is your automation’s recycling bin. When a contact reaches this stop, Mailofly permanently and safely erases their record from your audience.

What Happens Inside the Shredder?

When someone travels into this card:
  • Their contact card is permanently shredded from your Audience.
  • They are removed from every club badge and Segment list.
  • Any future scheduled newsletters or automation emails are cancelled for them.
  • Their current automation coaster ride comes to an immediate, safe stop.

Here is how you can set up a respectful goodbye sequence:
Notice how we let The Digital Mailman deliver the farewell confirmation letter first, wait 10 minutes to be sure it arrived safely, and then run the paper shredder!
