Roller-Coaster Rides

Think of your automation like a theme park roller coaster! The track you designed on your canvas is the ride. Every single time a customer steps into a coaster car and rides down your track, that’s called a Run! If 300 people sign up today, that means 300 individual coaster cars are zooming along your track at their own pace.

What Happens During a Ride?

Mailofly keeps a little logbook for every single car:
  • When the rider hopped on.
  • Which letters were sent to their inbox.
  • If their car is currently parked at an Egg Timer (Delay) waiting for 2 days to pass.
  • Which direction they went when they reached a Yes/No Quiz (Condition).
  • When they crossed the finish line!

When you slide open the Runs panel on your canvas, you’ll see a colorful status badge next to each rider’s name:

Reading a Rider’s Step-by-Step Diary

Want to see exactly what happened to someone?
  1. Open your automation in Mailofly.
  2. Click the Runs tab on the right side.
  3. Click on any contact in the list.
  4. You’ll see their full Step-by-Step Diary:
    • Exact seconds when each email was delivered.
    • Why they went down the True or False path.
    • If they are still waiting for a timer to ding!
