Ding-dong! Special delivery! Whenever a contact steps onto The Digital Mailman block, Mailofly wraps up a gorgeous letter and drops it straight into their inbox at lightning speed.

What Goes Inside the Mailbag?

1. Who is Sending the Letter? (From)

  • Sender Email: An address from your verified Mailofly domains (like hello@yourcompany.com).
  • Sender Name: A friendly name displayed in their inbox (like Maya from SuperApp).

2. The Subject Line

Make it snappy, friendly, and fun! You can include magic tags directly in the subject line:
  • “Welcome to the club, {{payload.first_name}}! 🎉”
  • “Your package is on its way! 📦“

3. The Letter Itself

  • Use a Mailofly Template (Easiest & Prettiest!): Pick a pre-designed layout you made in the Mailofly Template Editor with your company’s buttons, logos, and fonts.
  • Custom Email: Write your own custom message and HTML on the spot.

Magic Name Tags (Merge Tags)

Nobody likes getting a boring letter addressed to “Dear Customer”. Make every letter feel hand-written by pulling words straight out of the goodie backpack or their contact card:

Safety Net for Missing Names (Fallbacks)

What if someone signs up without telling you their first name? You definitely don’t want your email to say: “Hey there , welcome!”. Use a fallback safety net:
If their name is Maya, it prints “Hey there Maya,”. If their name was left blank, it prints “Hey there friend,”!
