Contact Migration Guide
Migrating contacts and suppression lists into Mailofly is straightforward using CSV imports or bulk API synchronization.1. Export from Existing Provider
Export your active subscriber lists and suppression lists (bounces, unsubscribes, spam complaints) from your previous provider (e.g. Mailchimp, SendGrid, Resend).2. Bulk Import via Dashboard
- Navigate to Contacts in your dashboard.
- Click Import Contacts and upload your CSV.
- Map columns to standard fields (
email,first_name,last_name,unsubscribed) and custom properties.
3. Preserving Suppressions
Always ensure previously unsubscribed users or hard bounces are imported withunsubscribed: true to prevent unsolicited email delivery.
