Webhook Retries & Debugging

Learn how Mailofly handles endpoint delivery failures and how to troubleshoot webhook integrations.

Retry Policy

If your server fails to respond with an HTTP 2xx status within 10 seconds, Mailofly retries delivery according to an exponential backoff schedule:

• Attempt 1: Immediate
• Attempt 2: After 5 minutes
• Attempt 3: After 30 minutes
• Attempt 4: After 2 hours
• Attempt 5: After 6 hours
• Attempt 6: After 24 hours

After 6 failed attempts, the event delivery is permanently dropped.

Debugging Failed Webhooks

In the dashboard under Settings → Webhooks → select your webhook:

• Delivery Logs: View all recent attempts, HTTP response status codes, and request bodies.
• Manual Replay: Click Replay Event to re-send any failed or historical webhook payload directly to your server.
