# Broadcasts Introduction

**Campaigns** allow you to send bulk marketing newsletters, product announcements, and onboarding drips to all contacts or targeted segments.

Every campaign send is tracked as a distinct **Run** with real-time delivery stats, open rates, click maps, and unsubscribe rates.

## The Anatomy of a Campaign

A campaign is configured with four core components:

| Component              | Required | Description                                                                      |
| :--------------------- | :------- | :------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Title**              | Yes      | Internal name to identify the campaign in your dashboard.                        |
| **Segment**            | Yes      | Defines who receives the email (e.g. All Contacts, Active Trialers, Paid Users). |
| **Template / Content** | Yes      | Subject line and rich email content (HTML or visual blocks).                     |
| **Schedule**           | Yes      | Send immediately, schedule for a specific date/time, or recurring recurrence.    |

## Key Capabilities

* **Segmentation**: Target contacts based on custom properties, engagement, or tags.
* **Visual Block Composer**: Draft responsive emails with headings, images, CTA buttons, and markdown.
* **Dynamic Merge Tags**: Personalize every email with `{{first_name}}`, `{{company}}`, or fallback defaults.
* **Compliance & Unsubscribe Links**: Automatic RFC 8058 one-click unsubscribe headers and footer links.
* **Sending Account Pools**: Option to rotate sends across multiple verified domain relays.
